How Can I Support?

There are many different ways to support Australia engaging in an ESA program.

Journalists

Get in touch! If you are writing a space story, search for the Australian link. Artemis II, for example, has a number of Australian touchpoints, and Artemis III and IV will have even more. Ask yourself - what would it do for our economy and workforce pipeline if we had an astronaut as a formal part of a global space program? The contact form for journalists is below.

General Public

There are a number of ways you can demonstrate Australia’s support for this campaign:

1) Let your local member of parliament know this is important to you. Get in touch with Canberra and write an email or letter to your representative (hint: you can find your electorate here). This is really important - they need to know what is important to their constituents. Here is an example letter - but the most effective ones are the ones that tell your own story. Why does this matter to you?

2) Support posts you see on social media about the campaign. There have been many articles in the media on the activities, and the more they are liked and shared, the more visible they our for the decision makers. Type in #flyKatherine on LinkedIn to get going!

Business

If you are a business that would benefit from an increased education pipeline into STEM, from Australia being connected formally to a global space network, or would like to support the co-contribution package, please let us know by getting in touch with Dr Megan Clark AC.
