Australian space payloads and experiments: request for information

Responses to the following consultation will contribute to the case for a spaceflight for Katherine Bennell-Pegg.

The Australian Space Agency is seeking information from the sector on Australia’s microgravity and space payload state of the art.

The payloads and experiments in scope include operations under the effects of radiation, isolation, distance from Earth, gravity impacts and environmental impacts including thermal and vacuum.

They are interested in current, planned or feasible science, research, payload development and related industry activities, including commercial spin-offs and products.

Your feedback will help DISR assess national capabilities and inform evidence-based planning.

They welcome input from industry, academia, government and research organisations, across space and adjacent sectors including:

  • biotech and medical

  • industrial research

  • fundamental sciences

  • education

  • agriculture

  • robotics

  • quantum

  • AI
